Our Team

Joshua Rogol is the Chief Executive Officer of Elevate and has 20 years of experience in energy finance, project development, technology development, and entrepreneurship.

Prior to Elevate, Joshua was President at Strata Clean Energy, where he led origination and development, corporate strategy, and execution across the United States for Strata’s solar and battery energy storage portfolio. Joshua oversaw and directed Strata’s development team that was responsible for contracting 2,500MW of solar and over 4,000MWh of BESS.  Before joining Strata, Joshua led global sales and strategy for a leading energy storage technology manufacturer, developing the company’s first utility scale project in Europe, a microgrid facility in Nicaragua, and a behind-the-meter C&I project in the United States. His previous experience also included leading global development for Urban Green Energy (UGE), helping to take the company public in 2014. Joshua was a co-founder of Photon Consulting, a leading renewable energy consulting firm, supporting IPOs, M&A, and business strategy for global leading renewable energy companies and opened their offices in Shanghai.

Joshua earned a Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude in International Relations and Economics from Tufts University and completed additional studies at La Universidad de Playa Ancha in Valparaiso, Chile.

As the Vice President of Project Development for Elevate, Corey is responsible for spearheading all battery storage project development activities including permitting, real estate, interconnection, and more.  With over 20 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, Corey has been directly involved with the origination, development, financing, construction and operation of several thousand megawatts of utility scale wind, solar, and battery storage projects throughout the United States; totaling over $1B of capital deployment.

Prior to joining the Elevate team, Corey served as the Vice President of Development & Corporate Strategy for the nation’s largest competitive energy generator and retail electric provider, Vistra Corp. In this role helped craft and implement a plan to accelerate the company’s transition to clean power generation and led the development efforts of over 30 utility scale renewable energy projects. Corey has also previously served as the Senior Director of Project Development at ConEdison Development, and as VP of Project Development at Juhl Energy, Inc. Corey is a graduate of South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota.

Robert serves as the Vice President of Capital Expenditures for Elevate. Prior to his role, Robert served as a Senior Director & Development Manager at Vistra Energy Corporation. In this role, he served as program director for development and construction of 400MW of utility-scale solar and 1GW of storage facilities. Robert held prior roles during his 15 years at Vistra, including  in M&A, Asset Management, Financial Planning, Project Controls, and Project Services.  Robert earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, an MBA from Texas A&M university, and a PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute.

Gregory Esteban is Vice President of Finance at Elevate Renewables, where he is responsible for the financial oversight and analysis of Elevate’s battery storage portfolio and the evaluation of capital structuring decisions on a project-, portfolio-, and corporate-basis. Greg maintains Elevate’s point of view on key aspects of the storage business case, including on the near-to-long-term market value of storage participation, and leads economic analysis supporting responses to revenue firming contract opportunities.  

Before joining Elevate, Greg worked in project finance and M&A at Recurrent Energy, where he led equity and debt transactions that enabled the buildout of more than a gigawatt of utility-scale solar and battery storage. Greg joined Recurrent after four years with Deloitte, where he helped Fortune 50 clients manage the financial, construction, and operational risks associated with their major capital projects.  Greg holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Gonzaga University. 

Jocelyn Blier is the General Counsel of Elevate. Prior to her role, Jocelyn served as Senior Counsel at Pine Gate Renewables supporting the company’s solar and storage development and financing opportunities in ERCOT, MISO, PJM and SPP. Jocelyn started her career at Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP in their Project Finance group representing public and private entities in domestic and international project finance and renewable energy projects. Jocelyn earned a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science from Harvard University and a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School.

Erin is Vice President of Project Delivery at Elevate Renewables, where she develops and implements strategies that enhance project execution, streamline processes, and improve delivery outcomes across the Elevate portfolio of projects.  She provides hands-on support in key areas such as procurement, project management, and risk mitigation while fostering relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.

Prior to joining Elevate, Erin served as the Vice President of Preconstruction for Avantus, where she helped shepherd over 2GW of PV and 1GWh of BESS projects through contracting and execution. She has also held various execution and development roles with Cypress Creek Renewables, Urban Grid, and NextEra Energy.

Erin has a JD from Lewis and Clark Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Drake University.

Tejas is Vice President of Performance Engineering at Elevate, where he is responsible for connecting the technical and commercial aspects of projects across the lifecycle.

Prior to Elevate, he was Chief Commercial Officer at a geospatial analytics startup focused on utility scale renewables. Before that role, he was Vice President of Optimization Engineering at Avantus, where he supported multiple projects through offtake negotiations, major equipment and EPC procurement, financing and sales. He has 10+ years in renewables development and engineering, and previously worked at Cypress Creek Renewables, Recurrent Energy and Black & Veatch.

Tejas has graduate degrees in Sustainable Systems and Energy Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan, and an undergraduate degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Shannon Wright is the Vice President of Compliance at Elevate. Prior to her role, Shannon acted as General Counsel at Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator, supporting the nonprofit’s mission to build an inclusive green economy by working with startups to accelerate the commercialization of clean technologies. Shannon also served as Director of Compliance at Inspire Clean Energy, a company that helps consumers switch to 100% renewable energy sources, such as wind, solar and low-impact hydropower to reduce their carbon footprint and combat climate change. In that role, Shannon worked to ensure compliance with utility commissions across numerous markets throughout the United States. Shannon earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Metropolitan University of Denver and a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law.

Sebastian Engelhart is the Senior Director of Strategy and Business Development at Elevate where he is responsible for the platforms growth strategy and evaluation of capital deployment and risk management at a project-, portfolio-, and corporate-level. Sebastian also heads up much of Elevate’s business development, origination and M&A work.

Prior to Elevate, Sebastian was the Senior Director of M&A at Strata Clean Energy where he oversaw both Strata’s corporate M&A activity & all development project acquisition and disposition sales across the +100 project, 15GW portfolio. He also acted as Chief of Staff to Strata’s President and Chief Development Officer, working closely together to run the Development business and in that time was partly responsible for contracting 2,500MW of solar and over 4,000MWh of BESS. Before joining Strata, Sebastian worked as a management consultant for Bain & Co. advising companies across a spectrum of industries.

Sebastian earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania.
